As per Jon Morosi, Turner’s free agency decision could be on its way this week. This is due to the fact that several teams are looking for an experienced corner infielder who can make an instant impact on the team.

The Blue Jays could be an ideal team for Turner as they have a bunch of young talent. The mixture of hot young blood and cool experienced heads could be something that the Toronto-based outfit needs to perform better than last season.

Speaking of the 2023 season, Turner once again proved his experience at the plate as he batted with a .276 average and slashed 23 home runs and collected 86 RBIs. All this came after he suffered a serious injury during the spring training game against Detroit Tigers last year.

As for the Blue Jays, they finished the season with a 89-73 record and finished third. Despite their standings, they clinched a wild card berth. Unfortunately, their season did not go any further as they were swept 2-0 in the Wild Card Series by the Minnesota Twins.
