The L.A. Dodgers were the first team to quality for the 2022 MLB postseason, on Saturday, they became the fastest team to reach a total of 100 wins in a season since the 2001 Seattle Mariners accomplished the feat in 140 games. The National League Champions eased their way to the 100th win in the 144th game of the season winning 7-2 against the San Fransisco Giants.
“Pretty cool,” Freddie Freeman said after the 100th win with the new franchise. “Just means we’ve got a really good team and we still got some more ways to go.”
“Obviously, we haven’t really looked at it like that,” Freddie Freeman added. “Every night we just go out there and try to win a ballgame. And I think maybe when this is all done, we can take a step back and realize maybe the regular season’s over and we got five days before the playoffs start but it is special, you know, when you come to the field expecting to win every single night.”

The L.A. Dodgers’ pitcher Julio Urias is a very strong contender for this season’s Cy Young award as per Freddie Freeman, “If he’s not right there in Cy Young contention, I don’t know what that award would mean,” The L.A. Dodgers’ first baseman added.
“No, no. My focus has been start to start,” Julio Urías said through translator Juan Dorado. “Focus on the health, focus on being prepared for the next one. Obviously, those numbers are going to speak for themselves when the time comes. But for now, just staying healthy and focusing on my next start.”
This years’ L.A. Dodgers are filled with experience, looking up and down the line-up seems like majority has tasted the October pressure. The offence has exploded as the postseason comes closer, Freeman is hitting .330, Betts .274, and Trae Turner .304.
