Major League Baseball’s Twitter fan world was overwhelmed after watching two delightful videos on Twitter, one of the former Boston Red Sox player and Gold Glove awardee Jason Varitek who reminded baseball fans of just how important he is to the Boston faithful, the other of Dodgers superstar Mookie Betts who noticed a young fan holding a sign that read “Mookie wanna play catch?” So, the star outfielder decided to make the young man’s day.

Major League Baseball’s superstar Mookie Betts is well known for his incredible bat, his strong power, and his defensive prowess. He is a 2-time World Series Champion (2018, 2020) and has won the Gold Glove Award for 5 consecutive years (2016-2020). He made the headlines all over social media on Monday.
The Major League Baseball player who pitched at perfect game in the World Series of Bowling in 2017, during the middle of the third inning, Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Mookie Betts gave a young fan the absolute thrill of a lifetime.
Mookie Betts spotted the Milwaukee Brewers fan holding a card, “Mookie wanna play catch?” and instead of doing his usual warm-up between innings, he opted playing catch with the fan.

Jason Varitek is a former player who played catcher for the Boston Red Sox, he is currently the game planning coordinator, a uniformed coaching position, for the Red Sox. Major League Baseball’ Red Sox has been kind to Jason Varitek as he completed his 15-year career with them after being traded as a minor league prospect by the Seattle Mariners.
Jason Varitek was spending the day at Canobie Lake Park in New Hampshire with his family when his daughter spotted a man wearing a Red Sox jersey with his name on it. Varitek’s wife Catherine started filming he approached the man eating a pizza slice without letting on to his identity.
“Let me ask you, how is the pizza?” Varitek said as he approached the Major League Baseball fan, wearing sunglasses. “It’s just microwavable pizza,” replied the fan. Long-time Boston player’s wife praised the T-shirt the fan dawned, “I like your T-shirt.”
The man responded letting them know that he is a fan of Jason Varitek and said, “sometimes you still see him at the games though,”. Jason took off his glasses and introduced himself, “Hello, I’m Jason,” as he reached out for a hand shake. The fan was utterly excited and hugged former Major League Baseball’s World Series champion.
“Dude,” the man responds before giving Varitek a hug. “Oh my God, it’s Jason Varitek, dude, you got me…What are the odds — oh my God.”
