“Next record please!” Miguel Cabrera overshadows Carl Yastrzemski in RBI list, strikes 507 home runs

Miguel Cabrera
The Detroit Tigers defeated the Kansas City Royals 2-1, and the credit goes to Miguel Cabrera. Yesterday not only did Miguel Cabrera cross Carl Yastrzemski for 12th all-time on the MLB career RBI list, but also scored his 5th home run of the season resulting in a total of 507 career homers.
After suffering from hurt knees and a bicep strain, Cabrera was put on the injured list. Though he looks much confident in his approach post return- “It feels good,” Cabrera said. “After I came back from the [injured list], I started to swing better and swing more free. Hopefully I can keep my biceps strong and my knees strong and make better swings at home plate and try to make something happen.”
Miguel Cabrera’s incredible career

Miguel Cabrera has seen it all in the world of baseball from his astonishing MLB debut on the 20th of June 2003, to winning the Triple Crown award in 2012. With amazing career stats of having his batting average above .300, 507 home runs, and 3,000 hits.
Miguel Cabrera is the man you could rely upon, in Wednesdays match against the Royals he came up and smashed a home run and right when the Tigers needed it the most
“I don’t care who hit it, but it’s nice that Miggy hit it pull-side,” said manager A.J. Hinch, whose team has won seven of its last eight games and could tie a season high with a sixth straight win if it can take Thursday afternoon’s finale. “It’s obviously nice to respond. Our guys have had a really good vibe about things. We’ve fallen behind during this stretch of games. We’ve taken the lead and tacked on.”
