Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago Cubs
The match between the Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers on the 4th of July was filled with historical moments and stunning performances. The game saw a record being made for the first time in the 147 years of Major League Baseball, but the fans desired to celebrate in the most unfavourable way.
Chicago Cubs’ Seiya Suzuki (Inside-the-park homer), Nelson Velázquez (First career homer) and Milwaukee Brewers’ Victor Caratini (Walk-off homer) made their contributions to make the 4th of July memorable for the fans, but in the eventual 5-2 win for the Milwaukee Brewers somehow gave fans the right to get into a fist fight. Several fans were not in the mood to celebrate Independence Day as they came to blows.
According to a fan present at the fight scene, the dispute originated from three trash-talking Cubs fans donning a black shirt, red sweatshirt and blue shirt. The Page Brewer Burner tweeted the picture of those these fans.
The Milwaukee Brewer fan page said, “These are the dudes that were at the middle of the whole brawl. The black shirt was the worst, but I think the blue shirt threw the first punch. 4+ innings of fans complaining to security about them and nothing happening.”

A fan said on Twitter after watching the viral fight video, “Black shirt was the worst, but I think blue shirt threw the first punch, 4+ innings of fans complaining to security about them and nothing happening.”
Is it really worth it? Going to watch your favourite team’s game on the 4th of July, amid all the holiday celebrations, especially buying tickets that are anyway overpriced these days, to only end up in a brawl amongst each other. Just pathetic.

Several fans in neighbouring seats attempted to break up the ruckus, but none could tune down the aggression. The main perpetrators were eventually separated after exchanging a flurry of punches for more than 30 seconds. All thanks in large part to an elderly security officer who joined the thick of the fighting and wrangled one of the assailants.
