New York Yankees are arguably the most celebrated in MLB history, whose fans live by their team and players. However, with the fans the same level of intensity as its athletes on the pitch, a couple of them seemed to have gone overboard. In a video that went viral from Yankees’ most recent win vs. Cincinnati Reds in 10 innings on Wednesday, fans of the Bronx Bombers seemed to excruciatingly beat one another.
As disturbing as the video is, one particular seem has gathered hatred from all over the internet as he viciously slapped his companion. What even worse? Even while the security stepped in, the culprit being larger in size, whacked off the hat and decided to throw punches on the victim and his friend. Rather than the crowd rushing to stop the beating, fans could be seen cheering on.
Safe to say such incidents only signify how catastrophic incidents can follow whilst you attend a sporting event. In this case, MLB.
Yankees fan receive hatred from all over the MLB fans after slapping fellow member
MLB Fans who saw this brawl unravelling live stated that the ‘victim’ in the green shirt tried to recover from the dizzy-ness when he was slapped. But by that time, it was too late for himself to get a hold of the matter. In no time, another Yankees fan decided to shove him and throw punches at him rigorously. Apart from this brawl, Yankees pitcher Luis Severino left the game on Wednesday night in the third innings due to right shoulder tightness. Despite being the top team in the league, the New York Yankees are struggling big time. Given that they started with a strong force, they are seriously limping their way out to the All-Star break.
