Ahead of the upcoming 2024 MLB season, Los Angeles Dodgers‘ star Mookie Betts, has taken a bold dig at their rivals. This comes after the National League West side spend huge amount in the offseason.

The team started off by acquiring Shohei Ohtani on a staggering $700 million deal. This was followed by huge deals for Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Tyler Glasnow and Teoscar Hernandez. Betts is now fired up for the season and excited to jump on the field with the new additions.

Recently, Betts joined the Sportsnet LA crew for an interview. During the interview, he expressed that the team they have assembled is going to become a problem for the opposition and that teams will treat their matches against Dodgers as their “World Series“.

Before the season kicks off, they will face their division rivals, the San Diego Padres, in Seoul, South Korea.
