Watch: New York Yankees fan’s nauseating video goes viral as Aaron Judge smacks his 47th HR
New York Yankees fan
A New York Yankees fan just showcased how he can disgust fans around him in the ballpark even when their ace Aaron Judge goes for his 47th home run for this season. On the night where Judge snapped a nine-game homerless drought with his third-inning blast off Max Scherzer, a New York Yankee fan was trying to turn his hot dog into his beer straw.
A viral video captured by Instagram user NewYorkNico apprehended the New York Yankee fan poking holes with his straw in the hot dog, one might wonder that the guy must be doing it to empty some ketchup or mustard sachet. Well, not really!
After he licked both ends of the straw, the New York Yankees fan then leaned over to pick up his drink from the ground, a beer, and placed the hot dog in it. With the hot dog almost fully submerged, the fan took a sip of his drink through it.
The Instagram user who captured the video, posted the video with the caption, “Wtf is going on at baseball games this year.”
New York Yankees- Aaron Judge inches close to the 61 HR record, hits 47th off Max Scherzer
New York Yankees’ Aaron Judge barreled a 95.9 mph fastball for a solo shot to right field off the three-time Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer. The frontrunner for the American League’s MVP Award is at pace to eclipse Roger Maris’ single-season AL record of 61, set in 1961.
“It’s news to me,” New York Yankees star slugger Aaron Judge said. “I really don’t worry about that. I was just happy to barrel something up and add to the lead that we already had against one of the best pitchers in the game.”
“That’s one of the reasons why I love this game, that little chess match you get to play,” Judge said. “To have a future Hall of Famer that you get to do that with, it’s electric. You’ve got the crowd on your feet for every pitch right along with you. It’s fun. I’ll look back on moments like that.”
Andrew Benintendi drove in two runs off Max Scherzer and the New York Yankees beat the Mets 4-2 Monday night for their first Subway Series win this season.
