The New York Giants won against the Carolina Panthers 19-16, in their home debut with their new head coach Brian Daboll. For the first time after 2016 the New York Giants are opening with a 2-0 win streak. This game brought out some sensational game play by the players specially Graham Gano, Julian Love, Dexter Lawrence and Daniel Jones.

New York Yankees’ star player Aaron Judge smashed two home runs in the third and seventh innings respectively, taking his home run count to 59, just two away from the single-season record set by Roger Maris. Aaron Judge’s homers not only got him closer to the AL record but also helped the Yankees defeat the Milwaukee Brewers in a 12-8 victory.

With a little bad blood in the game between the New York Mets and the Pittsburgh Pirates where Johan Oviedo threw a pitch with hit Pete Alonso, the Mets might set a modern record for being hit the most in a single season, currently this record is held by the Cincinnati Reds with 105 hits. Nevertheless the Mets came out victorious with a 7-3 win.
