Philadelphia Phillies savor their feelings from Tuesday’s night, as the team won 7-0 over the Houston Astros, clenching the World Series victory at Game 3. The team tied the record for most hits in the WS game. The homeruns came off Astor pitcher Lance McCullers Jr.

His pitches were the most compromised ones to get opponent shots in the WS game. Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto commented on his pitches, “He’s a guy that we saw at the end of the year in Houston”. “Got to see his pitches then. He just left pitches in the middle of the plate today.”

Their joint efforts made the Phillies the first team to ever hit 5 home runs in the first five innings in the WS. Harper noted, “We talked about it before the game, just trying to get on him early, trying to get on him often”. Harper’s advice to Bohm before his second inning did work in their favor.

When asked what Harper told him, he said during the Fox Broadcast, “That’s between us”. Later he coyly smiled and replied “Maybe” when asked if his advice helped him out during at-bat. It was only Tuesday that McCullers gave up home-run this season. He said, “Listen, I am who I am”. “I’m going to throw a lot of off-speed. Everyone knows that.”

Phillies starter Ranger Suarez stated, “The sinker worked excellent tonight,”. “It had real good movement. My cutter and my changeup were really good, too. I induced a lot of grounders with those pitches.” “To touch on the fans, they were excellent tonight, as always. They definitely gave me a plus. They inject that energy that you don’t get anywhere else.”

During the match, it was Harper who ignited the sparks with Suarez on their toes. Harper had a hitting score of .382 during the postseason. He said, “I’m just so focused on winning”.

“I’m not focused on anything else besides that. Just having the opportunity to come in here and grateful for the opportunity to be here. Just grateful to be here with this team and this organization. I’m not really worried about anything else.”
