Shakira needs no introduction; the name is what holds substantial power. Apparently, Shakira recently enjoyed a match between LA Dodgers and Washington Nationals at the Dodger Stadium. She also brought her sons, Milan Piqué Mebarak (9) and Sasha Piqué Mebarak (7), to the ballpark. Probably staying strong like her songs is the motto for the sassy singer as she has recently been surrounded by a cloud of tax fraud.
Colombian pop singer Shakira could face up to eight years in prison in a case where Spanish prosecutors have accused her of tax fraud. But for now, she seems to be on a vacation as the 45-year-old singer and her sons posed with Los Angeles Dodgers players Mookie Betts, Brusdar Graterol, and Yency Almonte.
Although there are many scandals surrounding the music queen, Shakira, a vacation might stop haunting her and her separation with soccer player Gerard Piqué with several days of rest, as she spent a vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with her children and now she was captured in Los Angeles.
MLB Twitter fans loved the sight of Shakira and her sons with Dodgers amidst $15 Million tax fraud allegations.
“Thanks to the Dodgers for making my kids feel at home,” tweeted Shakira a week after declining to reach an agreement with the Spanish Tax Agency. The Spanish government is accusing the star of tax fraud, where prosecutors seek to sentence her to eight years, two months of jail, and a fee of 28 million euros.
Shakira’s publicists said in a statement that she “has always cooperated and abided by the law, demonstrating impeccable conduct as an individual and a taxpayer.”
On the other hand, her ex-husband Gerard Pique is rumoured new girlfriend goes by the name of Clara Chia Marti. Clara, 23, is a PR student who is employed by Pique’s events production company, Kosmos.
Shakira is not having a great time as the Colombian singer, in addition to having to face a complicated divorce with Gerard Pique where the custody of their children will be at stake, is facing a complicated trial in Spain for alleged tax evasion. Probably a visit to the Los Angeles Dodgers will lighten up her anxiousness.
