Japanese baseball sensation Shohei Ohtani recently set up a meeting between his wife, Mamiko Tanaka, and the bigshot tennis icon who also happens to be co-owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Billie Jean King. This meeting is considered as a big deal in the community as it shows how sports can tie folks together from different games.

Since his move to the Los Angeles Dodgers, the baseball world has been looking forward to Shohei Ohtani’s official MLB debut with the team. After a strong showing in the Spring Training, he is now excited for the upcoming 2024 season.

It’s going to be really great memories for both of us. But like I said earlier, I have one job to focus on. It’s baseball…I appreciate all the attention. Obviously, attention is always great, being a baseball player and being able to play with these great guys next to me. I’m really excited.

Тhе uрсоmіng Dоdgеrs-Раdrеs gаmеs оn Маrсh 20-21 will be the first time where a MLB game will take place in South Korea. It will also be the ninth occasion when the MLB season kicks off outside the US Borders and will be one of the four International MLB series this year.

Following this series, the two sides will return from South Korea and resume the remaining Spring Training games. The Dodgers will then play the St. Louis Cardinals while the Padres lock horn with the San Francisco Giants on March 28th.
