Several hours before the parade on Friday, a multitude of supporters of the Texas Rangers had already gathered along a 2-mile road near the stadium. The parade is being held in honor of the team’s historic achievement of winning the World Series.
Two days following the Rangers’ 5-0 victory against the Arizona Diamondbacks in Game 5 of the World Series, the parade took place. Adolis García hit a home run in the 11th inning, leading Texas to victory, and one week later, the event took place.

The game became even when Corey Seager smashed a two-run homer during the ninth inning. At the parade happening in Arlington, Seager and García, who were regarded as the MVP in the World Series and the AL Championship Series, were meant to be present alongside the rest of the Rangers team.
Arlington is the city where they play, and it’s located between downtown Fort Worth and downtown Dallas, near Interstate 30. On Thursday, the Rangers returned to their residence in North Texas. Marcus Semien, a standout player, was the first to depart the aircraft.
As he exited the plane, he triumphantly raised the World Series trophy above his head. The parade kicked off from the southern part of Globe Life Park. Subsequently, it moved closer to AT&T Stadium, the location for Dallas Cowboys games.
The path extended surrounding Mark Holtz Lake, which was given its name in honor of a previous broadcaster for the Rangers. Eventually, it went past the Rangers’ former ballpark, where they were situated during their previous World Series participation in 2010 and 2011.
After the conclusion of the parade, the players were expected to engage in conversation with the fans outside, at the stadium which has a retractable roof and has served as their playing ground since 2020.
Arlington’s Mayor, Jim Ross, described the Rangers’ triumph in the World Series as a cherished ambition that they have pursued diligently for fifty years. Following a 63-year journey, the Rangers triumphed in their inaugural championship. After their establishment in 1961 as the Washington Senators, they shifted their base to Texas in 1972.

With a middle infield worth a staggering $500 million, the Rangers, along with their esteemed manager Bruce Bochy who clinched his fourth championship after returning from retirement, are poised for a strong competition in the upcoming year.
The team aspired to win a championship in the future, but to their delight, they accomplished it earlier than expected. Nevertheless, they were not content with winning only once and ceasing thereafter. A long-awaited moment arrived for the team as they secured the World Series trophy, marking the end of a 63-year quest, with 52 of those seasons played in Texas.
