“Complete circus show” – MLB Twitter BRUTALLY trolls NY Yankees for poor performance in 5-1 loss against Tampa Bay Rays

With every passing day, it seems that the New York Yankees will finally do good today. Their fans are then left disappointed as their team goes back the same way and slumps down. After losing the series to the Orioles, the Yanks faced off against the Tampa Bay Rays. The game went as many Yankee faithful have now gotten accustomed to. They played poorly and lost yet another game.
A team going through a torrid season is something pretty common in sports. The ways these things are going and their ability to bounce back from such a phase define the team. For the Yankees, they just somehow find a path to end up losing. Previously they were struggling with their batters and the absence of Aaron Judge was a key to it. His return has failed to ignite the team’s offensive struggles.
To make matters worse for the Yankees, their starting pitcher for this game, Domingo German was replaced from their starting position. The team later announced that he had suffered some issues in his armpit. He was replaced by relief pitcher Jhony Brito. The right-handed pitcher had a rough outing as he gave up four home runs in his five-run, four innings pitch appearance.
What makes things strange here is German suddenly appeared in the bullpen and later replaced Brito. The 24th pitcher to throw a perfect game, went on to throw five innings giving up just two hits and no runs. Fans would later question this decision. While they appreciated the efforts of German, the damage was already done by the time he entered the play.
Twitter reacts as Yankees suffer another damaging defeat
The most effective solution to win games is to score more runs. The problem for the Yankees has been their inability to score them. They have given up many chances of scoring with runners in scoring positions. In their 9-3 defeat to the Orioles, the team recorded eighteen strikeouts with Anthony Rizzo being the unfortunate man.
The third baseman went 0-for-5 and struck out five times. Another player who has been struggling is Giancarlo Stanton. After he went down swinging in the ninth, Stanton received heavy boos from the crowd at the Yankee stadium. The Yankee fans have been known for their no-sense and straightforward approach towards their player and it was proved once again. Here are a few reactions from Twitter from this 5-1 loss of the Yankees.
“It’s a game of adjustments and right now we’re just not making those crucial in-game adjustments,” Captain Aaron Judge said. He mentioned that the poor outings this season is upon them and they will try to do better in the next game.
The NY side went 10-15 in July. They have also behind in the wild card race as the LA Angels have overtaken them. As the trade deadline day approaches near, the Yankee fans are holding their breath and hoping for some player injections to strengthen their side.
