There have often been moments in Baseball which have described the true spirit of the sport, be it among the team or rival players or even the fans. During the Los Angeles Angels vs Kansas City Royals’ most recent showdown, a similar incident was spotted which melted the MLB world all over again.

While the Royals registered two consecutive victories over the Angels, the spirit was broken at the Angels Stadium on Tuesday between two particular fans. It is indeed safe to say, that the away team have kept the most efficient team in the regular at bae, but surely not its fan. Take a look at the video below.

When Royals outfielder MJ Melendez smashed the ball into the right side field, a fan who caught the ball decided to pass it on to the kid sitting in front of him. If you thought that the story has ended here, then surely, you’re wrong. As things only got better.

Following the action-packed game, Jared Walsh smacked the ball into the segment of the bleacher. The ‘lucky’ kid’s father fetched the ball in the stands and decided to pass it to his son. Obliging to the kid act before, this particular fan decided to return the favour to the guy who gave him the initial ball moments earlier (as mentioned above). Take a look at how MLB fans reacted to this incident during the Angels vs Royals showdown.

Hope the Los Angeles Angels could acknowledge this kind of act as they lost yet another game against the resilient Kansas City Royals. However, it was Bobby Witt Jr and Carlos Santana who combined for a total of seven hits and nine RBIs to power the away side to an 12-11 extra-inning win over the LA Angels.

Having dropped two consecutive games, it will be interesting to find out whether the Angels would be able to bounce back against the Royals on Wednesday as the two teams will be looking to lock horns in the same venue.
