Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is one of the best hitters on the team. Guerrero is having his second-best season in 2022, slightly behind his 2021 season. He’s hit .282/.351/.509 for an OPS of .860 so far. In 2021, he hit .311/.401/.601 for an OPS of 1.002. Should he be more careful with his bat?

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. recorded his 500th career hit. At 23 years old, he becomes the youngest Blue Jay to reach this milestone. And to the readers surprise, his father, Vladimir Guerrero reached hit 500 in the 419th game of his MLB career.

Guerrero Jr. made his MLB debut in 2019 with Toronto and has been a promising player since, but has especially flourished over the past two seasons.
