Freddie Freeman's family

First baseman Freddie Freeman of the Los Angeles Dodgers has established himself as one of the finest in the game, and it appears that his kid might be following in his footsteps. Freeman made waves earlier in the season when he allegedly fired his agent due to the way that his contract negotiations were conducted. The Dodgers player is making headlines this time around for a far more endearing cause.

Charlie Freeman, Freddie Freeman’s son, threw out the opening pitch on Wednesday in celebration of the Los Angeles Dodgers’ Freddie Freeman bobblehead night. The youngster, who is only five years old, has a cannon-like arm. First-pitch throwers frequently minimise the gap by moving away from the mound and toward home plate. Charlie, though, is not your typical first-pitch thrower. He is descended from one of the most significant players in recent MLB history.

From way back on the rubber, the younger Freeman let go with his pitch. Even then, his father had to make a short backpedal in order to catch it. The two then embraced one another, giving you the warmest hug ever. In the grand scheme of things, it’s a fairly strong first pitch. There have undoubtedly been many others that have been far worse. Fans are already wondering about Charlie’s potential MLB career due to the arm strength demonstrated.

On Freddie Freeman bobblehead night, the Los Angeles Dodgers would go on to defeat the Minnesota Twins 8-5, improving to 77-33 overall. Freeman’s sole offensive contribution came in the bottom of the third on a fielding error, but he’ll likely remember the night for a very different reason.
