WATCH: CJ Cron sends shock-waves through Major League Baseball with the longest HR of 2022

CJ Cron
Coor field is quite a friendly home run field, and CJ Cron took complete advantage of that fact. He left the audience in awe, after hitting a 504 foot home run in the confines of the stadium, in the fourth innings on Friday.
The ball hooked around the left field foul pole, and went out of the stadium as the lights glared on at night. History was made as the ball flew, and CJ Cron tied himself for the second longest home run ever hit. He tied with Miami’sย Giancarlo Stanton, who took the shot back in 2016.
The credit for the longest home run goes to Texas’ย Nomar Mazara, who hit a 505 footer back in 2015. This has been the first time since 2016 that anyone has gotten close to hitting the record. This also means that Cron now has the longest home run of the year.
