The New York Yankees starting pitcher, Gerrit Cole, has established himself as one of the greats. The ace pitcher has continued to dominate the MLB throughout his career. After joining the Yankees through free agency, he signed a nine-year, $324 million contract. He has since used some parts of it to acquire a home in Greenwich for $5.6 million.
The 32-year-old made his debut in 2013 after being picked as the first overall pick in the 2011 MLB draft. In his very first year, Cole was named National League Rookie of the Year. Since then, the pitcher has continued to torment the opposing batters with his pitches. The contract he signed with the Yankees is considered to be the largest in total money for a pitcher in MLB history.
Cole has his roots connected to UCLA. He would go on to marry Amy Crawford, a former UCLA softball player. She is also the sister of San Francisco Giants Brandon Crawford. The couple is set to have met each other while attending UCLA in their early days. The lovebirds have seen them welcome two sons, Caden and Everett.

Gerrit Cole is currently reported to be residing in his mansion in Greenwich, Connecticut along with his family. The property he is living in right now was made available on the market in September. Shortly after signing the deal, Cole and his wife were quick to act and captured their home for a fair share of the price.

Gerrit Cole was born in 1990 to Mark and Sharon Cole. He grew up beside a younger side Erin. In his childhood days, Cole would admire his current team, the New York Yankees. He would attend Orange Lutheran High School. He would take baseball during his sophomore year.
His performances soon started catching the attention of many across the country. The Yankees were keen to sign him in 2008, but he decided to attend college first and attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

It is located around 30 minutes away from the Bronx, the Yankee home stadium.
Placed on two acres, this property is spread out just short of the 9,000-square-foot mark. A beautiful Colonial-style house, it is a three-story home. The mansion features five bedrooms and six-and-a-half bathrooms. The entrance of the home is breathtaking and features a staircase leading to the formal dining and living rooms. The dining room features a kitchen built especially for someone who loves to cook.
Cole and his wife both share a passion for cooking. The kitchen is accompanied by a large center island and has a beautiful place for breakfast and relaxed dining. Other notable features of this property are a heated pool with a spa, an outdoor fireplace, and an outdoor kitchen. A playroom for entertainment and well-manicured lawns provide a much-needed break from daily life.
