The American third baseman and shortstop for the San Diego Padres Manny Machado had an early start with the ball since his high school. He got picked up by the Baltimore Orioles in the 2010 MLB Draft as the 3rd overall. Making his debut in August 2012, he had his breakout year in 2013 earning himself a spot on the American League All-Star Team, where he led the team in doubles with 51. Machado is highly recognized as one of the finest fielders in MLB who won the Gold Glove Award.

This 29-years-old made his way to the All-Star Game consecutively in 2015, 2016, and 2017. As of May 2022, he has a batting average of .282, 1,464 hits, 258 home runs, and 772 runs batted in. Currently playing with the San Diego Padres since 2019, he has also been part of the Baltimore Orioles, and Los Angeles Dodgers. Additionally, he has won 5 All-Star Games, All-MLB First Team, Gold Glove Award 2 times, Platinum Glove Award, Silver Slugger Award, and Fielding Bible Award.
