Yordan Alvarez is a Cuban professional baseball hitter and outfielder for the Houston Astros of the Major League Baseball. Nicknamed “Air Yordan”, he made his debut in 2019. He also played with Los Angeles Dodgers as a free agent before getting affiliated with Houston Astros. In 2019 he acquired the highest slugging percentage of .655 as a rookie and was unanimously voted as the American League Rookie of the Year.
