Zack Greinke has always been seen as a father who is accompanied by his children before a game, answering all their bread-and-butter questions. The fans who often reach the stadium before a game this season catch a glimpse of Royals’ starting pitcher. It is also been said that his kids hover around him in the clubhouse.
Zack Greinke is frequently seen playing catch with one of his sons or walking with one or both of the oldest two kids, he seems to be soaking up every minute of having them with him at work. Following that, it was for no one’s surprise that the Bally Sports Kansas City cameras caught Greinke talking with his kids.
The Kauffman Stadium was awestruck to see the couple Zack Greinke and his high school sweet-heart Emily with his children. Where the boys appeared to be quizzing dad about something when the camera was on them. They were seated adjacent to the Royals dugout which made it easier for their dad Zack Greinke to chat.
“That’s a special moment right there,” Bally Sports Kansas City’s Rex Hudler said.
Zack Greinke ascends to the 20th place in MLB’s career strikeout list
On Monday night, Kansas City Royals Veteran starting pitcher Zack Greinke pitched five scoreless innings against the Los Angeles Angels. Which made him move across yet another milestone in his astounding 19 season career in the Major League. He moved up to 20th place on MLB’s career strikeout list while assisting the Kansas City Royals win their third straight game at Kauffman Stadium.

“The fastball must have been decent because I was getting some swing and miss on the fastball,” Greinke said. “That doesn’t always happen. Some teams might have been sitting off-speed on me the last couple games. So that could have been it at the beginning of the game, looking for off-speed to hit. The stuff felt solid, nothing incredible.”
Zack Greinke recorded his 500th career start in the beginning of this year’s season. The 38-year-old veteran struck out five against the Los Angeles Angels allowing one four hits and one walk.
