Alex Rodriguez has had his fair share of experience in the love arena. Before his romantic involvement with Jennifer Lopez, A-Rod had a previous love affair with a WWE diva. From 2011 to 2015, Rodriguez and Torrie Wilson were a couple, attracting attention and making news with their high-profile relationship.
However, the two eventually went their separate ways, leaving many to speculate about the reason for their breakup. While both have moved on to other things, the memory of Rodriguez and Wilson’s relationship remains with those who followed their love story. In 2015, Page Six reported that Alex Rodriguez and Torrie Wilson hit a rough patch.
Their relationship eventually ended in a break-up and Alex’s commitment issues were given the blame for the fall. Moreover, A-Rod’s ex-wife, Cynthia Scurtis was also in the fold somehow at the moment. According to sources, the couple often argued about Rodriguez’s casual flirting attitude toward other females.
This might be the reason that the MLB superstar had not wrapped his mind around settling for good at that time. Alex and Cynthia still have a good relationship after their divorce in 2008, mostly pertaining to their lovely two daughters.
Cynthia Scurtis has mostly remained in touch with A-Rod’s life, even after her engagement to some other guy. Rodriguez was still hitting the diamond week in and out for the Yankees at that time. While she was in a relationship with Alex Rodriguez, Wilson decided to call off from wrestling and make headway into being an actress.
The Baltimore Sun reported that Wilson decided to hang her boots on the WWE owing to a serious back injury. Despite the challenges posed by her injury, Wilson was able to transition to a new career.

According to a 2009 interview, Torrie Wilson’s back injury played a major role in her departure from WWE. She described the injury as a “freak thing,” saying that it would periodically cause her back to lock up and leave her unable to move. Eventually, she went to WWE executives Vince McMahon and Johnny Ace and said that she didn’t feel comfortable wrestling due to her back issues.
She further broke up with Alex Rodriguez since there was a lack of commitment from his side. She also stated that his flirtatious acts toward other girls were causing drifts between them.
Torrie Wilson, now 47, went on to tie the knot with Justin Tupper. Alex retired from the diamond following the 2016 season. Alex has been around the block with his fair share of ladies before getting together with his current girlfriend Jac Cordeiro.
After their relationship ended, Torrie Wilson and Alex Rodriguez both moved on to new chapters in their lives. Both Wilson and Rodriguez have found happiness in their personal lives and have undoubtedly made many memories and accomplishments in the years since their relationship ended.
