While Joe Rogan can still discuss and joke about hot issues of the world, he cannot be the butt of jokes, at least not at the Academy Awards of 2022. Rogan, who’s a comedian, UFC commentator, and podcast kingpin with the #1 podcast on Spotify, THE JOE ROGAN EXPERIENCE.

His podcast is most recently known for his controversial statements starring misinformation on Covid vaccines and using the N-word as against the ethics that prevent racism. However, Rogan has been vocal about being open to mind change and many people have backed Rogan based on his character as a person.

However, Rogan is not the only spice topic going around the world. Those fond of Hollywood drama and gossip, got a treat when they saw legendary actor Will Smith smack another legend Chris Rock for making a joke about the former’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s baldness, Rock wasn’t aware that the baldness arises from a medical condition known as alopecia. Little did we know that someone was about to bring more drama to the Academy Awards that could’ve got the Joe Rogan controversy as well on stage.

Famous comedian Amy Schumer, who hosted the Academy Awards this year, told a private altercation with her lawyer prevented her from making jokes about Rogan and famous actors James Franco and Alec Baldwin on stage. Franco and Baldwin too had some controversies this year.

In an interview, she said (h/t Vanity Fair), “I wasn’t allowed to say any of that [at the Oscars], but you can just come up and [slap] someone.” Here, Schumer is referencing the aforementioned incident of Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at this year’s Academy Awards.

What do you make of this speech prevention done to Schumer while the stage witnessed a violent incident regardless? Who do you side with on Rock and Smith’s issue? Regardless of the backlash that Rogan faced due to the aforementioned things, in his second home, the UFC always backed him and welcomed him with open arms on his return to commentary back at UFC 272.
