Nate Diaz and his MMA promotion
Nate Diaz is going to fight Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 279 inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. It is going to be the last fight of Diaz’s UFC career as after that he will be a free agent. Diaz has already teased fans with his intentions to take part in other combat sports such as BJJ and boxing.
After becoming a free agent, Diaz will no longer have any connection with UFC and can use his name to promote anything he wants. Nate’s elder brother Nick in 2013 also started his promotion named RAW MMA. Back then Nick was having a dispute with UFC and starting his own promotion was a direct dig at UFC president, Dana White. The promotion held its only event and after that, it failed miserably. This time also, it’s very clear that Nate is upset with White for the unfair treatment.

“Real Fighters, Real sh**”- Nate Diaz will focus on giving an opportunity to real fighters through his promotion
Ahead of UFC 279, Nate Diaz shared the news about him starting his new fight promotion, ‘Real Fight Inc‘.
Popular MMA reporter, Ariel Helwani recently made a tweet where he released the official statement from Diaz about his promotion. It was revealed that the Stockton native will get his license to host an event as a promoter of Real Fight Inc. in a few weeks. The statement also mentioned that the fights will include MMA, boxing, BJJ etc.
“Nathan Diaz will be applying for his promoter’s license in the coming weeks to form Real Fight Inc., a new promotion that focus on promoting combat sports shows, specifically boxing, MMA and BJJ…”
Further the statement read that Diaz’s new promotion will scout fighters from all over the world. Fighters with real fighting spirit and style are always welcomed by the promotion.
“The promotion will look to attract fighters from around the world, whether it be up and coming prospects or household names who fit the brand of “Real Ninjas. Real Fighters. Real S**T..”
A fight business is not a bad idea as many former UFC fighters have done in the past. In recent times, former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov also started his own MMA promotion, ‘Eagle FC’ which is doing quite well. Diaz is a huge superstar and has a massive fan base. He can definitely use his popularity to promote Real Fight Inc. Fight fans seem to be excited about this but to predict its success as if now is very hard.
