The main event of UFC Vegas 48 was headlined by the light heavyweight contest between Jamahal Hill and Johnny Walker. It was a quick night at the office for Hill, as he brutally knocked out Walker in the first round of their contest. These two had nothing but respect for each other after the fight, and Walker was gracious in the defeat.

He took some time out to apologize to his fans, but what bothered him was the hate he received after his loss. He talked about this in his recent video, where he said, “FOR ME, IT’S OKAY. ONTO THE NEXT ONE, RIGHT? BUT WHAT’S MAKING ME REALLY UPSET IS FCKING PEOPLE DON’T CARE ABOUT THE FIGHTERS’ HEALTH AND WHAT HAPPENS AFTER, YOU KNOW? THEY JUST CARE ABOUT THE PICTURES AND MAKE THE JOKES. WHAT MADE ME UPSET WAS PEOPLE MESSAGE ME AND COMMENT THE JOKES. PEOPLE DONT CARE ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE’S HEALTH.”

Hill stood in support of Walker, and he slammed internet trolls for going after him, he wrote, “DON’T USE (MY KNOCKOUTS) TO DOG SOMEBODY, BRO. I’VE LOST, SO I’VE RECEIVED THE RIDICULE AND THINGS THAT COME WITH THAT. I CAN ONLY IMAGINE HOW Y’ALL DOING (JOHNNY WALKER) RIGHT NOW AND THAT SH*T AIN’T COOL. THAT SH*T AINT COOL.”

Former UFC welterweight contender, Ben Askren took notice of this, and he slammed Hill and Walker for crying like babies. He claims fighters are supposed to endure all the hate, and they know what they signed up for. Hill wasn’t pleased by this, and he ripped Askren for his comment. Here’s the thread that follows.

“We all know what we signed up for. Fighters need to quit being little babies about people making fun of them on twitter,” Askren wrote.

“If you knew what u signed up for why did u retire after a year in the ufc? U couldn’t handle the heat and ran!! I don’t need fans to love me, I love me some me!! But your a b**ch if your ok with ppl harassing your family.. I would expect u to understand a alphas mind!!”
