The boxer had recently revealed that he is planning on making a debut in mixed martial arts and is currently in talks with MMA promotions like Bellator MMA and PFL.
The fighter also recently posted a tweet that showed his first day of training leg kicks to pursue his career in MMA. While many did not see that as an actual possibility, PFL CEO Peter Murray is here to break your bubble. “If any major athlete that is considering and wants to get into MMA, of course, the PFL is in the conversation,” said Murray talking to MMA Junkie.
The CEO confirmed that Jake’s team has already initiated talks with the promotion. Jake also revealed that he will be training with UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov’s team to make his MMA debut. Jake has a wrestling background in Division 1.
