“It will blow your mind”- Ali Abdelaziz hints that Eagle FC enjoyed great success in its US debut

Former UFC champ Khabib Nurmagomedov’s new promotion, Eagle FC, seems to be enjoying a lot of success from its US debut according to manager Ali Abdelaziz.

The Dominance MMA founder recently posted a tweet that suggests Khabib’s new MMA promotion has been received well in the United States of America. The promotion made its US debut yesterday at the FLXcast Arena in Miami, Florida. The Eagle FC 44 event was headlined by former Pride fighter Sergei Kharitonov and former kickboxing champion Tyrone Spong.

Ali, who is the manager of Khabib tweeted earlier saying the numbers the event produced would blow our minds. “I was just being told the numbers of the viewership eagle FC 44 it will blow your mind,” wrote Abdelaziz on Twitter. He also tagged the Eagle himself and also Rizvan, who is the CEO of the promotion.

Khabib confirms the viewership numbers were booming during the Eagle FC 44 event

Yesterday’s event at Miami had some great names on the card. The most notable one was UFC Hall-of-Famer Rashad Evans, who made his comeback from retirement to fight Checco. UFC legend managed to get a win after 9 years in professional fighting.

The event was streamed for free and the fans were really happy with the pace at which the show was run. There was very little intervals between fights and things were very rapid. Khabib also managed to put former two-division UFC champion Henry Cejudo and UFC legend Chael Sonnen in the commentary booth which made things very interesting for the fans.

“We have some crazy numbers on live viewership right now on #FLXcast app @EagleOnFLX and it’s not even the main card @EagleFightClub” wrote Khabib on Twitter. The Russian promotion also saw some big names such as Kamaru Usman, Gilbert Burns, Derek Brunson, Kayla Harrison in the audience.
