Nickal first came out majorly in relation to MMA when it was reported that he is helping Masvidal out in the latter’s fight against Colby Covington at UFC 272. Unfortunately for Masvidal, he lost the fight via unanimous decision and now is facing law for accusations of allegedly assaulting Covington outside a restaurant in Miami, Florida. So Masvidal is nowhere close to fighting as of now but he has affirmed that he will fight again this year.

Bo Nickal came out in the first 30 seconds of the opening round to land a head kick that doesn’t does much accept for wobbling his opponent just a little bit. Followed by that, Nickal finds his rhythm for his boxing and throws a left straight by changing angle of striking on the same side, the opponent tries to keep standing but Nickal lands a flurry of power shots like the uppercut and the hook to end the fight via first round knockout. Watch the clip below uploaded by sports journalist Ariel Helwani as he puts in the caption “The highly-touted Bo Nickal has won his pro debut”

Masvidal reposted Helwani’s post to quote himself saying “Told you he’s gonna be a problem @NoBickal MMA Legend Chael Sonnen also had some words of praises “He fought more like a SHINY DIME than a DULL NICKAL SHINE ON, BO”

What do you make of Nickal’s debut and where do you see his prime reaching? Do you think he will be a UFC champion in the middleweight? Although his striking has made volumes, it’s Nickal’s wrestling pedigree that will always scare his opponents in the near future, so who do you think can withstand Nickal’s wrestling?
