“He’s lucky he defeated me”- Glover Teixeira remains unfazed by Corey Anderson’s recent call-outs, vows to beat him in a rematch

Glover Teixeira and Corey Anderson
Glover Teixeira talks about Corey Anderson! Former UFC light heavyweight contender, Anderson faced Bellator’s light heavyweight champion, Vadim Nemkov at the co-main event of UFC 277. Corey is a force to be reckoned with, and he was on the verge of winning his first world championship in a major promotion, but unfortunately for him, the fight was declared a no-contest after an accidental Head Butt.
He competed in UFC for a long time, and he holds wins over some legends of the division, many critics claim Anderson was not good enough to be a champ in the UFC, and that’s why he had to come down to Bellator to face easier competition. Corey was pretty calm in his response, and he claimed it was a business move.

Anderson holds win over the former UFC’s light heavyweight champion, and he called out Dana White, and UFC’s light heavyweight contenders in his recent interview, he said, “In my head, I was like, ‘I wonder how Dana White feels now? I wonder if he saw that fight. I wonder how he feels.”
He added, “Granted, he might not have seen it, but I just wondered if he regret letting me go? Does he regret they didn’t put that energy into promoting me like they did these other guys, now that they can see what I can do with a little love behind me, to feel like I actually belong somewhere.“
“If we have to fight again, of course I’m going to win”– Glover Teixeira is confident about beating Corey Anderson in a rematch

Current UFC’s light heavyweight champion, Glover Teixeira is going to defend his throne against the young prospect Jiri Prochazka. It’ll be Glover’s first title defense, and he is dialed in his camp for the fight. He took notice of Corey’s comments, but he is not interested in giving him any kind of attention.
In a recent interview, he said, “If we have to fight again one day, of course I’m going to win, man. I’m way better now. I stayed in the organization and he was released, you know? He lost after that. He got knocked out by Blachowicz. He got knocked out by the man I took the belt from.” (H/T MMAFighting.com)
“He’s lucky he defeated me and can say it, but, man, that doesn’t bother me,” Teixeira continued. “I would rather watch birds sing. I won’t stress out over that, because that fight … everything is different today. That was four years ago, 2018. I’m the champion of the world now. Where was I ranked back then? He lost, had his lows here [in the UFC] and went to Bellator, but he’s doing fine now.” (H/T MMAFighting.com)
