People react to Joe v. Wade controversy supposing it was an MMA fight
Men on the streets react to the whole Roe v. Wade controversy as if it was an MMA fight. Recently, Roe v. Wade was the most important topic of discussion in the United States of America. Most of the citizens had the opportunity to come out and share their opinions on the matter on various social media platforms.
Roe v. Wade is a 1973 lawsuit that encouraged the supreme court to make rules on abortion rights. It all started when an unmarried woman named Jane Roe filed a lawsuit for herself and others like her against the Texas abortion laws. Back then, abortion was strictly illegal unless there is harm to the mother’s life.
After that in Roe v. Wade, the supreme court put forward two important points which were to be followed. The US constitution supports one’s ‘right to privacy which protects their right to choose to do an abortion or not.
The abortion right was not absolute and it should meet the requirements of the government’s interest.
The controversy spread like a wildfire after the supreme court again decided in July that they are thinking of overturning Roe v. Wade. While the controversy was ongoing and everybody was talking about it, it was really interesting to see some of the comments the men on the streets made about the whole situation.

The late-night show, Jimmy Kimmel Live is known for having amazing public interviews on the streets. These videos are always funny and entertaining to watch.
Recently, the crew took to the streets and asked men about their opinions on the Roe v. Wade scenario, however, there was a catch. Instead of doing it in a normal way, they called the whole situation an MMA Heavyweight bout, Roe vs Wade. The people were allowed to show their support for either the fighter Roe or Wade.
As expected the reactions after the question were hilarious and the public played along with the crew. One of them explained that the fight was amazing and said, “man, Wade! He was talking about all types of stuff, you know, I mean, like he’s something, but he was nothing. He got it right in the kisser. He’s out.”
Another person was asked who he liked more in the fight and he chose Wade over Roe because Wade was ruthless. He said :
“Go for Wade, yead definitely. Doesn’t care about if he’s going to get knocked out he just goes it he’s ruthless.”
It was hilarious and at the same time very insightful. The crew of the Jimmy Kimmel show did a great job to plan this whole thing and come out with a non-controversial way of getting a public reaction.
