Tom Hardy is one of the most talented actors that have worked in the movies in the last two decades. The film and TV star has been part of several amazing shoes and movies which are liked by critics as well as the fans. Hardy is not just an actor who memorizes his line and acts all romantic in front of the screen, but is a pure action star. The 44-year-old has been part of many high-end action movies such as Venom, Mad Max etc.

Being an action hero, Hardy has an obvious interest in Mixed Martial arts and other combat sports and likes to get indulge in them from time to time. His 2011 movie ‘Warrior’ was based on two brothers who are MMA fighters for which Hardy did extensive training. Hardy’s performance was impressive in that movie and it gained him worldwide recognition as a true action star.

Tom Hardy recently made headlines after taking part in a BJJ Competition. The Venom, Peaky Blinders and Inception actor was in Wolverhampton on Saturday fighting in the REORG Open Jiu-jitsu Championship at Aldersley Leisure Village.

It was staged to provide jiu-jitsu training for disabled combat veterans in the UK who are suffering from severe post-traumatic stress disorder due to their career experiences.

Due to Tom Hardy’s presence, the locals were extremely thrilled. A video went viral where Hardy can be seen having a Jiu-jitsu Jitsu match with his opponent. In the video, it can be clearly seen that Hardy is not just a normal Hollywood ‘A’ lister but a legitimate combat sports practitioner.

Hardy started off by taking his opponent to the ground and later using his body to get into a mount position. While his opponent struggled to find his way out, Tom Hardy successfully got the hold of him with an armbar. Hardy won a gold medal in the competition and was happy with his achievement.
