MMA is becoming a spectacle sport right now. Each year so many crazy knockouts and submissions are making fans in awe of the moment. It has even become the norm in training sessions where fighters utilise different techniques to develop something incredible.
The Twitter handle of Spinnin Backfist recently shared a clip featuring two fighters in a grappling position and flipping the man on top to get in place for an arm-triangle choke that perfectly worked. It is such a rare sight to see someone try something like that. There have been many creative submissions in MMA history, but this one was special.
Currently, the fighter’s name or the gym is unknown, but the original video was tweeted by BJJotter. BJJotter is a popular account, occasionally sharing various clips of submission sequences. The page is quite interesting, with valuable insights into grappling.

listening to joe rogan try and describe it would be hilarious especially because he’d have like 10 seconds before he had to get in the octagon ?

He flipped himself. That wouldn’t happen in real life

Bro literally kept his right arm above his head. Any half decent grappler would not. Won’t ever see this in high level mma

Looks like something @MightyMouse would pull off

I wonder how many times they practice that before they got it, right?

It remains to be seen if a submission like this is possible in real competitions or even in the UFC. We have seen crazy submissions before, so it might even be possible to rework some version of this submission into a fighter’s skill set.
One day if we could see something similar in the UFC, it would be considered as the greatest submission in history. Until that day, we can look forward to great fights that are coming our way.
