Jorge Masvidal is ready to up the levels for his bare-knuckle fighting promotion. The UFC welterweight contender provides an update on his new promotion hitting the roads.
Former UFC title challenger, Jorge Masvidal launched his very own Bareknuckle MMA promotion on June 18th, 2021. The UFC pay-per-view star partnered with Puerto Rican singer Anuel AA to launch his new business. It was no surprise that “Gamebred” was impressed with this business idea given the fighter himself comes from bare-knuckle fighting background.
In the latest tweet, Masvidal gave an update to his fans. The fighter announced that two new states had given approval for bare-knuckle fighting and his promotion is set to hit the road very soon. The first event of the Gamebred Fighting Championship was headlined by Jason Knight vs Charles Bennett.
“Bare knuckle mma just got approved in 2 more states! @GamebredFC hitting the road,” wrote Masvidal in his latest tweet. Gamebred’s Fighting Championship streams live on the exclusive BKTV app. Masvidal’s hope is to provide fans with more ruthless, raw action inside the octagon with fighters going at each other with no gloves.

Masvidal has made a huge name for himself. Coming from a tough background, the Miami fighter has turned out to be one of the biggest UFC stars. Masvidal has always made use of his fame and opportunity to his best and recently, Masvidal joined hands with Florida’s governor Ron DeSantis. Masvidal joining hands with one of the biggest politicians in Florida speaks to the fighter’s fame in his hometown.
Masvidal was recently at a private raiser rallying for the governor. Masvidal spoke in support of the governor and insisted that the people of Florida vote for Ron DeSantis and bring him back to power again. “This guy fights for you, fights for me, fights for my kids, fights for my freedom,” said Masvidal at the Fundraiser.
In UFC, Masvidal is coming off a loss to his arch-nemesis Colby Covington and the Miami fighter also made the headlines for ambushing Covington after their fight at a restaurant in Miami.
