One cannot forget the Irish crowd going brash on Jose Aldo in the UFC Pressers when he was scheduled to face Conor McGregor. In the press conference, Nate Kelly, a young Irish kid, confidently made a bold statement to UFC CEO Dana White. He mentioned that he would become an MMA fighter and that White would wrap the UFC belt around his waist. However, he joined the PFL and recently won his debut.

Conor McGregor had inspired a whole generation of Irish MMA fighters. As such, Nate Kelly, a huge fan of the ‘Notorious’ made his amateur debut in the PFL last week. He fought Callum Seaton on his home turf in Dublin, Ireland. As such, he won the fight via anaconda choke in the second round. This sent the MMA fans to revisit his iconic video of the 2015 pressers. As such, he became the talk of the town.

From being a cheeky young kid, Nate Kelly had grown up to be a confident MMA fighter. He was 19 and fought out of SBG, Ireland – Conor McGregor’s gym. He had an amateur MMA record of 2 wins and two losses. With the win in PFL, one of the fast-growing promotions, Kelly was on his way to achieving his dream.

According to Nate Kelly, he has won several kickboxing championships and Jiu-Jitsu tournaments. His win in PFL captured the eyes of MMA fans. Also, with his old video at the UFC press conference getting viral, he would have the star power to push his career forward quickly.

Nate Kelly appeared at the UFC Press Conference as a young kid from Ireland. As such, he had only one thing to say to Dana White. He said that he would win the UFC Championship in the future. Here is what Nate Kelly said:

Fast forward to 2023, Nate Kelly fought under the PFL banner and won his second amateur fight. Kelly was just 19 years old and had a whole career ahead of him. If he continues to work, he could achieve what he stated to Dana White as a kid. As such, it would be a dream come true moment for Kelly.
