Quinton Rampage Jackson is one of the pioneers of modern MMA. The former light heavyweight UFC champion popularised the slam technique in MMA. Jackson was a big star in Japan when he fought at the Pride Championships. Moreover, even his ex-wife is Japanese.
Jackson recently appeared on the Overdogs podcast hosted by Mike Perry. Perry and Jackson are very close friends. On the podcast, Perry pondered whether Jackson has a status in Japan like Chris Tucker has in the USA. This is what Jackson said in reply.
I be feeling like Chris Tucker. I be feeling like, but you know what, it's a lot of black people out there. Y'all just don't see many Africans out there. They be working in, reppin, owning clubs and bars and stuff.Rampage Jackson via Overdogs podcast

Rampage Jackson also talked about what he liked about Japan. He stated that he likes the food, women, and beers in Japan. Moreover, he also showed respect for the country’s culture and tolerance of the Japanese people. He explained that anybody could wear any dress in Japan without judgment from the Japanese people.
Rampage Jackson is now the co-host of the JAXXON podcast, which hosts athletes from MMA. Demetrious Johnson, Luke Rockhold, Giga Chikadze, and Terrance McKinney were some of the recent guests on the podcast. Jackson is hilarious and incorporates that feature of his character on the podcast. Rumors swirl of a potential boxing match between Jackson and Shannon Briggs in Riyadh.
Rampage Jackson went off at his son after the disastrous pro-MMA debut
Raja Jackson, the son of Quinton Rampage Jackson, made his professional MMA debut against Steve Collins at the UFL in August 2023. Jackson talked about his son’s MMA career on his appearance on the Overdogs podcast.

Jackson felt that his son did not have the same motivation as himself due to his privileged lifestyle. Raja Jackson had an undefeated amateur career before his professional debut. Moreover, he trains under Antonio and AJ McKee. Unlike Rampage Jackson, his son is a lightweight. Jackson also bashed his son for his diffidence in cutting his weight. Nonetheless, he only hopes for good things to happen in the future.
In addition to Raja, Jackson has four other kids: D’Angelo, Naname, Elijah, and Darnell. Three of Jackson’s sons have the middle name Rampage. Two of his children were from his marriage to Yuki Jackson. However, they divorced in 2006.
