The matchup between Logan Paul and Dillon Danis keeps getting more and more interesting. At the Misfits Prime boxing card weigh-in, Paul came prepared with backup in the form of Gordon Ryan. Ryan is an American submission grappler and renowned first-degree Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt.

Really I’m just here to retrieve Dillon because I need someone to clean my cars,” said Ryan as he and Paul ganged up on Danis. “I got all the goons in case he tries anything funny; in fact, I got Dylan Danis’s kryptonite in the building,” said Paul previously at the weigh-in. “You know…I brought the baddest dudes in the world. I got Gordon Ryan to protect me in case he tries any Jiu-Jitsu b***s**t.” Paul came in with a ski mask. He refused to remove his mask after Danis attacked him earlier this week.

The YouTuber turned boxer and Danis faced off in a cage. The weigh-in happened with a glass partition separating hostilities from both. Danis continuously taunted for a “real face-off” without anything dividing them. The fighters were, however, kept in place with an abundance of security personnel binding them.

Both fighters will face off at the co-main event of the DAZN pay-per-view boxing bout. The fighters made the 195-pound limit during the weigh-in. However, Danis claimed foul play. Paul had initially missed weight and needed another try to make weight. Nevertheless, both fighters aim to defeat their foe on fight night.

In his post-fight interview with Ariel Helwani, Paul reaffirmed he was good to go despite the incident. However, he wore a balaclava cloth mask and kept his wound hidden. Paul also brought on Gordon Ryan as protection and warned off Danis against any antics. Paul hoped the arrival of Ryan might affect Danis mentally. Danis and Ryan competed in a BJJ match where Ryan won via decision.

Alongside the other co-headliner, KSI and Tommy Fury had a bloated face-off of their own. KSI and Tommy made weight. The DAZN series pay-per-view event “The Prime Card” will happen on Oct. 14.
