Dana White and the Fertitta brothers, Frank and Lorenzo, made the UFC the premier MMA promotion in the world. The Ferittas were the majority owners of the UFC before they sold it to Endeavor. Dana White is still the head honcho of the UFC. Moreover, White is the owner of Power Slap, the premier slap-fighting championship in the world.
The Power Slap has popularized slap fighting, and recently, a video of a slap knockout went viral on social media. In the video, two men engage in a verbal dispute, only for one to settle with a slap knockout. One of the men slapped the other with a brutal left slap that knocked the other man out cold. It was so powerful that fight fans compared the man who slapped to the legendary anime character, One Punch Man.
The slap knockout was reminiscent of the brutal knockouts that have happened at Power Slap. Funnily enough, the man who slapped made some catchphrases, too. Many UFC fighters have also used slap techniques in their fights. Nate Diaz and Nick Diaz popularized the Stockton Slap in the UFC. Nate Diaz used it effectively against Conor McGregor and Leon Edwards.
Recently, Merab Dvalishvili grappled with streamer Sneako. The Georgian slapped Sneako multiple times during the grappling session. Khabib Nurmagomedov infamously slapped Artem Lobov, making Conor McGregor respond with the infamous dolly incident.

The street fight video of the viral slap knockout did not go unnoticed on social media. It spread like wildfire on various social media platforms and got close to 200K views. The main reason for the popularity was the brutality of the knockout.

Fight fans were in awe of the knockout prowess of the man who slapped. However, most fight fans found using slaps in verbal altercations inappropriate. Nonetheless, many of the fans found the knockout to be similar to that of Power Slap. Moreover, some Power Slap fans even compared the man to their favorite Power Slappers.
