Elon Musk shocked everyone when he tweeted that his fight against Mark Zuckerberg would not involve the UFC. This came after Dana White met with an Italian Minister to book the fight in the Colosseum. However, Mark Zuckerberg disputed the claims of Musk on his social media handle. He went on a scathing remark against Musk on social media.
Zuckerberg wrote, “I love this sport and I have been ready to fight since the day Elon challenged me. If he ever agrees on an actual date, you’ll hear it from me. Until then, please assume anything he says has not been agreed upon.” Zuckerberg did not hold back and disputed the claims of Musk. However, Zuck did not clarify if he wanted to fight under the UFC banner.
Recently, Dana White went on Mike Tyson’s podcast and revealed a meeting with the Ministry of Culture in Italy. However, Elon Musk also met with them and proclaimed on Twitter that he would proceed without the UFC. Furthermore, Musk went for an MRI scan and might require surgery before the confirmation of their fight.
Elon Musk is over 50 years and a recovery time after surgery could be lengthy. It does not look like the fight will happen this year. If everything goes as planned, the best possible scenario remains the first quarter of 2024. Meanwhile, Zuckerberg continues to improve his skillset by training with the best fighters on the planet. His love for the fight game remains supreme, unlike any other billionaire.
Dana White and Mike Tyson forgot Henry Cejudo’s name after discussing Elon Musk vs. Mark Zuckerberg fight
On the most recent podcast edition, Mike Tyson hosted Dana White, the president of the UFC. Both serious and humorous topics were covered in great detail during this episode. One such instance featured Henry Cejudo, a former UFC champion, and a gold medalist.
White and Tyson started discussing the upcoming title fight between Aljamain Sterling and Sean O’Malley. Tyson praised Sterling and O’Malley but wanted to know about Sterling’s most recent opponent. Dana White could not remember Cejudo’s name, and Tyson said, “Oruda, Henry.”
Twitter went crazy after hearing about Tyson’s mistake and White’s poor memory. Ironically, Henry Cejudo helped Mike Tyson in the past with his podcast. He co-hosted the episode when Canelo Alvarez and Khabib Nurmagomedov came on the podcast. However, Tyson only got the first name correct before butchering the last name.
