There is no doubt that Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has impressed many with his Jiu-Jitsu and grappling prowess. Zuckerberg started training in MMA when he was set to fight fellow billionaire Elon Musk in a much-anticipated fight. However, the fight did not build up due to various reasons. Despite the cancelation of the fight, it looks like Zuckerberg has not stopped training.

He recently posted a photo of himself on Instagram in which he looked beaten up. The Meta CEO had bruises on his nose and under his eyes. Zuckerberg captioned the photo, “Sparring got a little out of hand. May need to update my avatar.” The photo caused many fans to comment on Zuck’s account as they were shocked by his dedication to the sport.

Zuckerberg is a blue belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He began training in BJJ in early 2020 and has competed in several tournaments. He won gold and silver medals at his first BJJ tournament in early 2023. Zuckerberg has also said that BJJ has helped him to become more confident and resilient. However, he has also looked like he was in great shape while training with Israel Adesanya.

Zuckerberg is passionate about MMA and built a UFC-style octagon in his backyard. Many in the martial arts community have praised his decision to train in BJJ. Fans will look forward to seeing Zuckerberg train in more grappling tournaments in the future.
