Mike Perry
There is truly no stopping Mike Perry from not getting into trouble. The fan-favorite fighter just can’t help himself. “Platinum” is a walking controversy at this point.
The former UFC fighter is just testing different ways to get canceled at this point. Mike Perry might have left the biggest promotion in MMA but he still has the same fans following him to date and it is mostly because of the wild stuff that he says or posts on his social media. Perry is scheduled to face British talent, Michael Venom Page this weekend in a Bare Knuckle fight, and Perry has just been a gift that keeps on giving throughout the lead-up to this fight.
The two MMA fighters will fight each other at BKFC 27 on August 20th in the city of London. The final live press conference for MVP vs Platinum Perry went down yesterday and it was nothing short of pure entertainment. The former UFC fighter has been carrying the promotion to this fight on his back and has once again rattled the fanbase with his recent Instagram post.
Mike Perry’s recent Instagram post catches fans off guard
Platinum Perry decided to choose quite the outfit for his live presser in London ahead of his BKFC event. The fighter during the weigh-ins put on a face mask and an outfit that looked like he was straight out of the war zone. The fighter could have just posted his pictures and things would’ve been fine. But Mike being Mike, went with the wildest caption he could think of just to rattle the fans.
Platinum Perry posted a picture and wrote, “Allahu Akbar” in his Instagram caption leaving fans to react hilariously on social media. The fighter also posted a series of pictures from the event and also a hilarious final face-off where he dared to remove the glasses of MVP. Mike is seen being fully masked and throwing a gun sign during the presser and adds the caption, “Allahu Akbar”. I’ll leave it up to you guys on what Mike was trying to mean by that.
Fans are hyped about the upcoming fight and took to Twitter to discuss the recent controversial Mike Perry Instagram post. Perry has been on a roll during the promotions of this fight and the fight is certainly an exciting one. BKFC would be happy to know that Perry is doing most of the promotional work with his social media following and recent interviews.
