If you invite Mike Perry to a press conference you best expect some awkward moments between him and his opponent. The former UFC fighter faced off with the amazing Bellator MMA fighter, Michael Page for a bare-knuckle fight, and the press conference was nothing short of hilarious.
There is a reason Mike “Platinum” Perry is one of the fan favorites. Despite not being the best version of himself inside the ring/octagon, Perry still manages to draw a lot of attention because of his hilarious personality. Mike has been a complete entertainer since his UFC days. Now, the fighter has taken his talents to the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship and will now be facing Bellator MMA contender, Michael Venom Page in the main event fight.
Fans always want to know how a fight between top contenders from UFC and Bellator MMA would go down and BKFC 27 is giving you the answer next weekend on August 20th in London. Mike Perry and Michael Page will take on each other in a bare-knuckle fight in a solid entertainer. MacLife channel on YouTube held the online press conference for the upcoming bout and Perry was just too much for the British MMA star to handle.
Mike Perry explains why he punched the old man in a bar fight
The press conference between Platinum Perry and MVP started off with the two sharing very respectful words about the other but it was only so much time that Mike could put on the “no sh*t talking” front. Minutes into the presser and Mike is back being his hilarious self. The fighter even managed to get his British opponent to crack laughs here and there despite being puzzled by what Platinum Perry was talking about.
After MVP boasted about his “street” credentials, Mike jumped on and said, “I try to keep it real, you know. I remember my dad saying he was a 1000-0 in the street. I give anybody the benefit of the doubt. Anybody can win at any given time,” added Perry to Venom’s talk about street fighting. “I see a lot of videos of old men taking out young dudes. People talk shit about me because an old man came at me and I swatted his ass,” added Perry.
“I swatted a few people in these streets. These hands is bisexual motherf**ker. Anybody can get it. Any gender, anybody can get this sh*t at any given time because I don’t trust nobody,” said Platinum Perry in the online presser as Page watched him go off.
