The controversial streamer Sneako recently made the headlines for sparring with Sean Strickland. Now, he joined the MMA legend Nate Diaz for a streaming session. During their conversation, Sneako brought up the feud he had with Mikey Musumeci and asked Diaz’s opinion on the submission grappling champion. As such, Diaz trashed Musumeci and made some derogatory comments. On that note, he said that he wanted to ‘beat him up.’ Now, ‘Darth Rigatoni’ responded to Diaz.
Mikey Musumeci considered Nate Diaz had called him out and accepted the offer through an Instagram video. At first, ‘Darth Rigatoni’ rained down praise for Diaz and his brother Nick Diaz, calling them ‘legends.’ Then, he said he accepted a grappling match with him, although he acknowledged he couldn’t beat him in an MMA fight. Here is what he said:
I can’t fight Nate in an MMA fight. He would kill me, but I would absolutely accept a grappling match with him since we’re both black belts in jiu-jitsu. It would be an absolute honor to have the opportunity to face such a legend like Nate. A once in a lifetime opportunity. I don’t care about weight class or anything, I would be a hundred percent down to grapple with himMikey Musumeci (via Instagram)
Although Mikey Musumeci accepted the call-out, he didn’t address Nate Diaz’s derogatory comments. It was a surprise since the Stockton legend used a homophobic slur to trash Musumeci. Especially when ‘Darth Ragatoni’ went off on Sneako just for making fun of his appearance and Jiu-Jitsu.
Mikey Musumeci currently competes at One Championship and reigns as the flyweight submission grappling champion. Although his contractual terms with the fight promotion could cause troubles in making the grappling match with Nate Diaz, he was down for it. As for Diaz, he was a free agent’ and looked for viable opponents to fight next.
How did the feud between Mickey Musumeci and Sneako start?
Everything started when Sneako reacted to the clip of Mikey Musumeci winning against Shinya Aoki. Addressing the win, Sneako jokingly stated Musumeci looked like Mark Zuckerberg and shouldn’t have won. As such, he stated Jiu-Jitsu was for autistic people. This really provoked the submission grappling champion.
So, Mikey Musumeci took to Instagram, exposed Sneako as a bully, and called him out for an MMA fight. In response, Sneako acknowledged the grappling prowess of ‘Darth Rigatoni’ and agreed he would lose no matter if they fought in MMA or grappling. As such, he mentioned his comments were only a joke, and it was a part of being a streamer.
However, the heat between them didn’t seem to cool off as Sneako brought up Mikey Musumeci on his recent interaction with Nate Diaz. These events have led to the possibility of the MMA legend facing the grappling champion in a jiu-jitsu match.
