MMA Vet and PRIDE star, Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson hasn’t stepped in the octagon since 2019. However, at 44 years he has no plans to hang up the gloves yet. In a recent interview, the former PRIDE star reveals his intention to make a comeback.

Quinton Jackosn last fought at Bellator 237 back in 2019 against the MMA legend Fedor Emelianenko. The Heavyweights went head to head in the main event of the card. Fedor took the victory via TKO in the first round. After the loss fight fans haven’t seen Rampage inside the cage since.

Rampage is a former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and unified the Pride Middleweight Championship belt. His explosive style and his hate for wrestling had made him a legend among fight fans. In recent times he’s frequented Triller Fight Club and Bellator events, either as a coach, ambassador, or simply an MMA fan.

During this time rumours of a boxing match against fellow Triller Triad Combat coach Shannon Briggs have also been circulated, although nothing concrete has ever been solidified. Among all the rumours the MMA vet has clarified that he’s not done and has plans to fight gain. He also stated that he isn’t satisfied with his last performance.

In a recent interview with TMZ Sports, Jackson talks about Jon Jones move up to Heavyweight, how Heavyweight hits harden than Light Heavyweights and also about his last fight. He also talked about his intentions to fight again.

When asked whether he’s done fighting, Rampage replied by stating that he’s not ready to hang up the gloves. He also stated his intentions to box. “No, man. I ain’t done, I’m not happy with my performance in my last fight. I can’t leave MMA fans like that.” Jackson said.

“Yeah, I’m going to leave this sport a little better. … Like I said, I’m in talks with fighting Shannon, finally. That fight has been almost a year in the making. I want to do some boxing before I retire. … I might do MMA, but I want to do boxing. I’m getting up there. I’m 44, man. I’m getting up there. My knees (hurt) from wrestling. When you’re doing MMA, a lot of people want to take you down.” The MMA vet added.

Rampage is known for his hatred of takedown and being sharp on the mic as well. Although he has never competed in Boxing as a professional. He stated his intentions to step into the ring. Furthermore, in his last outing, he didn’t look at his peak performance and was finished easily by the Last Emperor. His last win was a pretty entertaining TKO of his arch-rival Wanderlei Silva in 2018 at Bellator 206.
