MMA has grown in popularity mainly due to the promotional success of the UFC. Spearheaded by CEO Dana White, the name UFC has become synonymous with MMA. One of the reasons for the UFC’s popularity is White’s ability to adapt to different generations. As such, he has relationships with influencers and video game streamers. The popularity of the UFC has also resulted in the rise of street fights. Recently, a fight went viral on social media, and fans compared the aggressor in the fight to Agent 47, the eponymous character from the world-famous video game series Hitman.
The viral video lasted just three minutes. In the video, a policeman blasted a straight right hand into the jaw of another man. The man quickly folded as it was a brutal one-punch knockout blow. What is fascinating in the video is the striking similarity of the policeman to Agent 47, the character from the video game series Hitman. Agent 47 is a contract killer and the video game’s protagonist in the series.
Agent 47 also possesses high-level skills, strength, and power like the policeman. Therefore, it was not surprising to see fight fans compare the policeman to Agent 47. Nonetheless, the one-punch knockout from the policeman also resembled similar blows from the boxing and mixed martial arts worlds.
Israel Adesanya knocked out Alex Pereira at UFC 287 with a straight right hand similar to the policeman’s punch. Khamzat Chimaev‘s knockout of Gerald Meerschaert was also with a straight right hand. Sean O’Malley‘s KO of Eddie Wineland and Dan Henderson‘s KO of Michael Bisping were also similar.

The video of the policeman’s brutal knockout did not go unnoticed on social media. It spread like wildfire on various social media platforms, and X alone got more than half a million views. The popularity was mainly due to the policeman’s resemblance to Agent 47 from the Hitman video game.
