Reports: Top journo offers insight into potential changes in rules in MMA

ABC might make some amendments in MMA rules and regulations

Recently, popular ESPN reporter Marc Raimondi took to Twitter to share some inside news about the potential changes that MMA might undergo in upcoming times.

The reporter posted a series of tweets explaining what are these new changes and how it will impact the sport.

Lately, there have been many scenarios where fighters are getting eye poked by their opponents which is hindering their performance during the fight. ABC has finally decided to take a step as the new rule suggests that the fighters will be given five minutes time to recover after getting eye poked.

Another potential change the ABC will be targeting is the use of neoprene sleeves during the fight. These sleeves are already being used by fighters in other fighting commissions and it looks like they will be a great addition to the sport of MMA.

Scoring in a close fight has always been a matter of controversy. To avoid more of this confusion, ABC is looking forward to bringing out scoring ladders which will assist the judges to score more prominently and consistently.

These new rules that are expected to be applied are very important and it will benefit the fighters a great deal. This is a small step towards making the sport better and giving all the fighters a fair chance of competing without any external hindrances.
