It is never a good idea to affront a UFC champion. Justin Bieber, though, did not care if it was former UFC champion Ronda Rousey that approached him, the universal popstar straight up rejected a request from Rousey at the Cannes Film Festival.

Ronda Rousey was excited to take her younger sister, Julia De Mars to the Cannes Film Festival. According to the WWE and UFC star, her sister is not the kind of person to get very excited at things very easily but the moment she saw Justin Bieber at the festival, the then 16-year-old couldn’t help but want a picture with the star.

Ronda being a good elder sister approached Justin politely but it seemed to have been a very bad time for the Canadian singer. Rousey says she was shut down by Bieber before she could even complete her request. It is safe to say that Ronda and her younger sister were not “Bielbers” anymore since that moment.

Talking to Cosmopolitan in 2015, Ronda shared the horrible experience of meeting Bieber. This was not the first time Justin was accused of poor behavior in the past. The singer was only 21 at that time and was notorious for his attitude. “Justin Bieber was really rude to my little sister at the Cannes Film festival,” said Ronda in her interview with Cosmopolitan.

“My little sister is really hard to impress. So she just literally didn’t care about anybody that was there. Justin was there taking pictures with some ladies and she [Julia] got really excited and was like, ‘Do you think he would want to take a picture?’ I was like, ‘Sure, Julia, don’t worry about it, everybody’s taking pictures today,'” said Ronda in the interview.

“I walked over there and I said, ‘Excuse me,’ and he said, ‘I’ve already taken a billion pictures today.’ And I said, ‘yeah, but -‘ because she was the only 16-year-old girl at the whole party,” said Rousey. Justin wasn’t even ready to hear what Rousey was about to say and snubbed them. Both Ronda and her sister were no longer fans of the popstars according to the fighter.
