Shannon Briggs and Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson are set to fight in June 2024. Jackson recently took to X to announce his fight with Briggs and signed the fight contract as proof. This fight was in the making for over two years and was finally official. Now, Briggs and Jackson had a video conversation to promote their matchup, which captured the attention of the combat world.

In the video, both ‘The Cannon’ Briggs and Quinton Jackson relentlessly insulted each other. During a particular segment, the fighters flexed their biceps to see who had a bigger one. Then, Briggs showed off his ‘huge’ fists and asked ‘Rampage’ to show his. But Jackson flaunted a middle finger to insult his opponent. In response, ‘The Cannon’ spontaneously made a joke about it and laughed in hysteria. Here is what he said:

The conversation between Shannon Briggs and Quinton Jackson remained amusing and tense at the same time. Although both fighters hurled insults during their trash-talk, they kept a cool head about it and even laughed at each other’s jokes. However, a beef stemmed between them when they almost got involved in a brawl during a Triad combat event in 2021.

Since that incident, Shannon Briggs posted many troll videos of Quinton Jackson to taunt him. Finally, after years, they found a way to squash their beef. As such, they would fight inside the boxing ring in Qatar in June 2024. Briggs is a KO artist, and Rampage had many entertaining bouts in MMA.

Quinton Jackson wants to shut Shannon Briggs once and for all

Quinton Jackson, who currently co-hosted the Jaxxon Podcast after a successful MMA career, announced his debut boxing fight. As such, he will take on his longtime rival, Shannon Briggs. The two have gone back and forth for over two years since their first meeting. Now, ‘Rampage’ revealed signing the official contract to fight Briggs.

In his contract signing video, Quinton Jackson spoke about the rivalry with Shannon Briggs and how he irritated him by posting numerous troll videos. As such, he vowed to end it once and for all inside the squared circle. Check out what Rampage said below:

Both Quinton Jackson and Shannon Briggs enjoyed the fruits of their labor after resting from competitive fighting. They last competed in 2019 and 2016, respectively, and their age was a stumbling block to making a comeback since Briggs was 52 and Jackson 45. However, they never officially announced their retirement. As such, a boxing bout is booked to mark their return. They compete on June 1 in Qatar in a boxing showdown.
