MMA fights have shown phenomenal knockout and submission victories. It is one of the reasons for the growing popularity of sports. As MMA combines all martial arts forms, fighters use innovative techniques to defeat their opponents. However, the popularity of MMA has also caused a rise in street fights among youth. Moreover, the youth often try to emulate the incredible knockout techniques of their favorite fighters.

One such street fight went viral on social media recently. It was a street fight that ended in a spinning-back elbow finish. In the video of the street fight, a man who wore a vest knocked out a shirtless man. The location of the incident was a road. After the man hit his opponent with the spinning-back elbow, the opponent fell awkwardly, similar to the way Andre August fell when Jake Paul hit him with an uppercut.

From the video, it was apparent that it was a deliberate fight. Interestingly, the spinning-back elbow was the only strike in the fight that landed. The shirtless man had thrown the first strike, a left hook from an orthodox stance. However, the man in the vest had a Philly shell and easily leaned back. Moreover, he used the lean-back technique again as the shirtless man threw a jab and a left hook again.

Nonetheless, the man in the vest timed a perfect spinning-back elbow as his opponent moved in. Funnily enough, the shirtless man had his guard up as he moved in. Unfortunately, he put down his guard in a split second before his opponent hit him with the elbow.

Spinning-back elbow and spinning-back fist finishes are innovative techniques in MMA. Fighters use this technique, but knockouts with these techniques are extremely rare. However, there have been spinning-back elbow finishes in the UFC, even in high-level fights. Jiri Prochazka used a spinning-back elbow to knock out Dominick Reyes. Moreover, Beneil Dairush knocked out Scott Holtzman with a spinning back fist. Furthermore, Paul Felder knocked out Danny Castillo with a spinning back fist as well.
