Street fights have become very common ever since the boom happened for MMA. However, even before the boom of MMA, the Street Fighter video game had stolen the hearts of fight fans. Harcore fight fans still deeply respect the highest-grossing fight game media franchise. As such, fight fans compare actual street fights to the video game.

One such video went viral on various social media platforms recently. In the video, two shirtless men engaged in an MMA-style street fight in a junkyard setting. There were audiences at the event, which meant that it was not an impulsive fight. Both fighters in the video showed impeccable striking and grappling maneuvers.

The fight ended as one of the men rocked the other man with a straight right hand. He followed it up with ground and shouts before the audience urged him to stop. However, the other man disputed the stoppage, claiming he was all right. Whether the punch hurt him or not is a subject of debate. Nonetheless, the way he fell would’ve forced any referee to stop the fight if it was a sanctioned bout.

There are many instances, even in the UFC, where fighters dispute the stoppage. Israel Adesanya disputed the stoppage at UFC 281, and Aljamain Sterling disputed the one at UFC 292. Incidentally, Marc Goddard was the referee on both occasions. Moreover, many even criticized Goddard’s stoppage in the main event fight between Jiri Prochazka and Alex Periera. However, Prochazka agreed with the stoppage even though he lost.
